Marine Trade Memberships

More businesses are targeting the growing recreational marine market.  Membership in the Ontario Marine Operators Association offers you the most direct way to target that market.  We know how valuable a strong professional association is to the well being of the industry in the Province of Ontario and how important this can be for your business.  It is essential that this Association continue its efforts to promote the following objectives: 

• The OMOA is a significant contributor to the national Discover Boating Campaign. This campaign aims to attract 150,000 new boaters to the industry over a five-year period.  From national television, provincial radio and print ads to grassroots events the Discover Boating campaign is spreading the message that “Life is better with a boat”. 

• Represent the Industry to the various levels of government, examples include water levels, dredging funds, GST issues, property taxes, environmental issues, and licensing requirements.

• Volume buying discounts for such items as forms through NEBS Business Products, preferred VISA and MasterCard rates, etc.
• As a Marine Trade Member you have direct access to our members through the Marina News, the OMOA Trade Show and Conference, and advertising in the annual Marina Directory.
• With the recent change in the publication of Marina News, the OMOA will be issuing a comprehensive Suppliers Guide for our members, where only Marine Trade Members will be included.

• A one-year subscription to Marina News
• Priority for advertising in Marina News
• Display privileges at the OMOA Annual Conference and Trade Show, usually held in early December.
