Publications put out by the OMOAThe following publications are put out for the general boating public's use:
Boating Ontario: Marinas & Destination Guide The OMOA's annual guide to over 450 of its marina Members details their facilities and services. Other useful information is also included in this publication of value to all kinds of boaters. Boat Pro This self-test manual was produced under the joint efforts of Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons and Mercury Marine. Basic to safer boating is having the knowledge that will help boaters avoid trouble before it happens. The manual is an introduction to the legal and safe practices of boating. Ride Smart This manual was produced with the co-operation of Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons, the Canadian Marine Manufacturers Association and the Canadian Watercraft Training Centre. The operation of a personal watercraft (PWC) involves many of the same responsibilities as operating a car. This manual teaches the basics of safe operational practices and encourages boaters to become familiar with local boating laws and requirements. Enviro Boater This manual was produced as a result of the joint efforts of the OMOA, the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons and other interested organizations. Some products used to operate and maintain a boat can be harmful to the water if not handled properly. This manual is designed to provide tips and suggestions for environment-friendly boating in order to maintain our waterways.
